InVADE International was founded in 1998 by experts within the computer telephony and call centre business.  At that time the market for CTI- enabled call centre technology, was dominated by established manufacturers who controlled the largest chunks of the business telephony market. Their solutions were proprietary, inflexible and expensive. Only a small number of large companies could sustain the huge investment, project-manage and tackle the custom development required to deliver a business improvement.
Apart from being expensive and proprietary, none of these established manufacturers were delivering solutions specifically tailored to the demands of the market research industry. One of InVADE’s founders came originally from a technical background in market research industry and set about to change all of this.
Using Standard off the shelf components, popular industry Operating Systems environments, InVADE created one of the first soft switch technologies.  However, recognising that our customers will have diverse legacy infrastructure, we engineered a unique vendor independent integration so that our solutions could work with, and augment, existing telephone systems, or replace end of life technologies as a stand-alone solution.
The aim was to make the solution affordable for the small to medium sized companies, yet scalable to the largest.  Having achieved that, InVADE then set about integration with the most popular CATI systems, ensuring that companies would be able to minimise support and training costs by using a single platform for all the CATI operations.
